Spring 2010
This blog was born out of the vacuum that was left after my cancer journey. I thoroughly enjoyed posting on my CaringBridge site - it gave purpose to the journey and was such a therapeutic place to express what I was feeling, experiencing, learning. I'm always feeling, experiencing and learning, even outside the world of cancer, and needed a place to continue doing exactly that. This blog is part journal, part photo album, part scrapbook, and part memoir. I like to think that this is something I've been inspired/called to do, or maybe it's simply born out of an excessive need to talk, especially since I live alone and have no one present to yap to about the little things. :) Either way, it's a blessing for me and hopefully meaningful and enjoyable for you!
A note about the pictures on this site - I'm still new at the photo thing. I own a simple, but adequate Canon PowerShot A1000IS point & shoot camera. I'm determined to learn to use it well and be able to take decent pictures, but it's a process. I could wait to post pictures until my skills are better developed, but I decided I'd rather have you along on the journey. Until then, thanks for bearing with me!
