We've been selling these dear little bracelets as a means of raising money for my friend Rose's cancer treatment expenses since April of 2008. But more importantly, they have been an instrument of hope and encouragement, have been a reminder that God is ever present in our circumstances, whether they be good or bad, and have made Scripture incredibly relevant, especially for people in hard spots. We decided to take “what Satan intended for evil” and allow God to use it for good – not just for Rose but for many, many people. The bracelets are beautiful – colorful, clay beads with intricate designs; people are captivated by them. But what’s really special about them is that each bead carries a meaning. Included with the bracelet is a packet of small cards; each card has the slogan for the bead on one side, and a related Scripture verse on the back. It’s been amazing – they are touching people’s lives and we’re hearing all kinds of cool stories of how people are being encouraged and blessed, and how these people in turn are blessing others. As of April 2010, we have distributed over 1300 bracelets!
